Welcome :)
WELCOME!
Hello everyone and welcome to my blog. (Please note that my official website can be found at http://www.ekaterinabotziou.com). A long time ago, when I was just a wee nipper with uncontrollable frizzy locks and eyebrows that could have been potential fire hazards, a teacher told me that I should one day endeavour to publish my amateur scribblings.
However, as the years went by (and studying Law murdered all my creativity), sheer laziness and half-hearted excuses about my hectic, showbiz-dabbling Greek lifestyle ensued and I never got round to it. My short stories, poems and scripts lay unfinished, next to the spanakopita left-overs.
Eventually, after a few GoGo Guarana 100% natural energizer supplements, my joie de vivre returned and I awoke from my literary slumber with an all consuming need to share my rants, raves, recipes, and general Greek philosophy about life with the world.
So here it is.

P.S. If you would like to order an EXCLUSIVE SIGNED copy of any of my books Greek Expectations: The Last Moussaka Standing; Theseus & the Mother-in-Law or Seraphina please Contact me and fill in the form. If you enjoy the books, please consider telling your friends or posting a short review on Amazon (both UK and US – click on the right hand menu for links). Word of mouth is an author’s best friend and much appreciated. Thank you!
Samples of my voice-over work can be found on the right hand side menu as well as links to my Spotlight page and other showreels. Please get in touch if you would like to discuss any media-related collaborations.
I should also note that I have set out my blog more like a normal website rather than a blog roll (that’s ‘blog’ roll, not ‘bog’ roll) – the links at the top lead you to different categories of posts and you can click on the latest posts on the right hand side menu.

P.P.S Just to clear things up people – I have NOT spelt my name wrong. It is Ekaterina, NOT Katerina. (Well in Greek it is technically Αικατερίνη Ekaterini but there is STILL an E! – I was named specifically after my GREEK Grandmother!) I would not respond to someone called Eleni with ‘Dear Leni…’ or to someone called Elefteria with ‘Dear Lefteria…’ and presume that they had misspelt their own name.
It is not a silent E! Comprende???!! Many thanks 🙂 xoxo

Great Blog 🙂 Will most certainly be downloading the book since I’ll be needing all the help I can get to help me better understand some of the ins and outs of my darling new beau. He’s Greek and I’m from Panama so this experience will certainly be an interesting one. Wish me luck!!
